Classroom mock-up

This is an mock-up of what the classrooms will look like.

Lots of light, lots of space, and a single room for every class.

The image accurately shows the actual positions of the windows, doors and all other building fabric.  Furniture and tiny students have not yet been installed!

NB: Bert and Ernie are not guaranteed to be in every room!

Indoor play area

On the left is a view of the indoor play area which will be on the ground floor.

Students will be brought here as soon as they get off the bus in the morning.  It will be a place of play, inquiry, learning and fun.

This indoor play area also means that play can happen no matter what the weather or the API - it will be fitted with the latest HEPA filters to ensure the cleanest air possible.

Having this area so close to the entrance means that children are in school sooner, allowing a slightly shorter school day, while maintaining the maximum learning time.

Lower Primary faculty visit

Lower Primary faculty visited the Chai Wan building in August 2011.

Lower Primary faculty visit

They could see the potential in the school - inside and out - and their positive reactions to having natural daylight in every classroom was welcome!

The outdoor play area - refreshed, modern, safe, secure and fun!
