Academic excellence within a caring environment

The cornerstone of Hong Kong International School’s program is its belief in nurturing students to achieve their full potential. The American-style curriculum is challenging and engaging with both international and multicultural elements. By aspiring to the highest standards of excellence, our students consistently test in the 90-95th percentile on standardized tests of basic skills. At the high school level, more than 20 Advanced Placement courses are available and more than 80% of students who take AP exams earn university credit. More than 30 per-cent of recent HKIS graduates were named AP Scholars for their outstanding results.  Ultimately, 100% of our students enroll in college with approximately 80% attending American universities.
