Hong Kong International School comprises four school divisions located on two campuses on the southern side of Hong Kong Island.
The Lower Primary and Upper Primary Schools, are situated on the original HKIS campus in Repulse Bay, while the Middle and High Schools are found in Tai Tam, overlooking Tai Tam Tuk.
Class sizes range from 15 children in Reception One, up to 24 students per class in Middle and High School.

The four schools house libraries with more than 110,000 books, periodicals and technical resources; and also integrate technology into learning with a student to computer ration of 4:1, at all Grade levels throughout all school divisions.
In addition to purely academic resources, both campuses have extensive and modern facilities to enable the best possible environment for physical and team-development. The facilities include: swimming pools, playing fields, (Tai Tam playing field is to be re-surfaced with all-weather Astroturf this summer), Indoor and outdoor courts for tennis, badminton, basketball, and volleyball; squash courts, gyms, a weight room, dance studio, climbing walls, theatres and an observatory.
