In Middle School we offer a wide range of after-school activities for students to explore and pursue.  Activities can be found which are categorized as:

Academic, Physical, Creative, Technical, Language & Culture, Music, and Service.

     
 

Academic

Supervised support is provided to help students who may need additional assistance to understand or complete assigned work, and is run from Monday to Friday each week. 

Physical

We have soccer for boys and girls, field hockey, rugby, indoor cricket, sailing, skateboarding, intramurals (sporting team games), dance and scuba diving. 

Creative

To develop creativity we offer Crew.com, (who work to organize MS gatherings), theatre, film buffs and future problem solving. 

Technical

Technowise Crew work behind the scenes for Middle School performances, concerned with systems for live recording, sound, lighting, and camera methods 

Language & Culture

Classes in Chinese martial arts and Chinese games. 

Music

We have our jazz bands and choir. 

Service 

Service to the community is pursued through the Matrix, Eco and GLOW Clubs

Student Medical Insurance
P
lease note that HKIS expects all of its students to be enrolled in a health insurance plan.  HKIS does not provide medical coverage for students when accidents occur during school-related activities.

If your child is not covered by health insurance, please e-mail Joanna Wilson at jwilson@hkis.edu.hk in the Business Office for an insurance company referral.
