The Upper Primary School serves our children in Grades 3 through 5 (8-10 years old).
The curriculum includes language arts (the integration of reading, writing, speaking and listening), mathematics, Christianity and other world religions, science, and social studies.
Supporting our academic subjects are physical education, art, general music, strings, band, Chinese studies (Mandarin and Chinese culture), and technology as a tool for learning.
Contributing to the overall learning experience are the excellent facilities that the students enjoy: an extensive library, a gym with stage and band room, video broadcast studio, Chinese studies center, art and music rooms, and of course, the playgrounds.
Add in the Upper Primary overnight camp experience and the physical challenges of “flying” during Project Adventure, and you have the perfect atmosphere for learning and individual development.
We practice the relentless pursuit of our students' hidden passions, while protecting, nurturing and celebrating your children's strengths.Jennifer Delashmutt
