Welcome to Hong Kong International School (HKIS). We’re pleased that you've decided to visit our website.

If you continue browsing you’ll learn more about our history, accreditation and the nature of our School.

You can see from our Mission Statement on the right and from our Student Learning Results that HKIS is committed to the learning and development of the whole child. Details on how we go about doing that are evident in the various links you can explore on the school's curriculum and activities.

If you are browsing here to explore if HKIS is the right place for your child or if it’s a school where you’d like to teach, both the Mission Statement and the Student Learning Results are the best descriptors of the nature and character of learning and teaching at HKIS.

HKIS appreciates that parents have entrusted us with the most precious gift they have received from God, their own children. We view parents as partners in helping children and adolescents to reach their full potential. We encourage and practice open and regular communication between school and home.

Among the various links on this website, you will find details on admissions for students, employment information, and current details on activities at HKIS. You may also read my 2007-08 school year opening address entitled Memories and Dreams by clicking here.

You’re invited to communicate with us by phone, e-mail, or by visiting in person. I look forward to greeting you at Hong Kong International School.
