Looking for a FUN way to increase your strength, endurance, flexibility and focus? Learn to Sync! Synchro can be a new challenge for a strong swimmer or as a compliment to swimming lessons.
Girls and Boys from Grade 3 to Grade 6 will learn and build foundation synchro skills and start synchronizing their movements with one another in patterns.
To join the recreational synchronized swimming program, swimmers must be able to swim in deep water with any two of these strokes – Freestyle, Breaststroke, Backstroke, Butterfly – and be able to swim at least 50m (two lengths) or have completed level 4,5 or 6 of the American Red Cross Program.
The Synchronized Swimming Program is taught by Ms Suzy Roy and Mr Adam Scott. Ms Suzy is an experienced swimming and synchronized swimming teacher. She has a passion for the dynamic and exciting sport and has been involved as both a swimmer and a coach. Ms Suzy represented the North West of England at the National Synchronized Swimming Championships, before moving into teaching and choreographing gold medal winning teams.
