Inline-Skating (Introduction)

Powerplay Sports & Entertainment (PPSE) presents an exciting curriculum that allows students to enjoy the wonders of skating within the safe environment of your school. PPSE provides a fun atmosphere while promoting healthy physical and social activity through set-drills, competitive games, and a multi-sport approach towards learning how to skate. By the end of the term, students will not only learn the necessary skills to maneuver on wheels, but also practice valuable social and personal skills like teamwork, perseverance, respect, and communication etc.

 

Intro to Skating (Grade 1 – 5)

Thursdays 3:00pm – 4:00pm @ 7/F Playground - LP

This course for HKIS Upper Primary students only.

Specifically designed for complete beginners, this course will introduce safety procedures and various skating skills through lots of practice and different types of games!

*All students MUST bring their own skates and protective equipment (helmet, knee & elbow pads, and wrist guards) to each class. Contact for advice on where to purchase.

In-Line Skating Advanced  (Grade 1 – 5)

Thursdays 3:00pm – 4:00pm @ 7/F Playground - LP

This is for students who has previously taken the Intro to Skating course or has skating experience. Students will learn advanced techniques and play more challenging games.

*All students MUST bring their own skates and protective equipment (helmet, knee & elbow pads, and wrist guards) to each class. Contact for advice on where to purchase.
