ASA Swim 

The genesis of all water safety - how to swim. Explore the world of water, gaining confidence through play and games. Acquire, develop and refine stroke techniques through differentiated instruction. The objectives is to teach children age 5 and above to be safe in, on and around the water by building confidence and solid stroke technique. 

Students will move through six (6) levels as they master buoyancy, personal safety skills and their stroke techniques. The students will learn and grow as they work through the logical progressions:

Level 1 - participants are oriented to the aquatic environment and gain some basic skills in each category.
Level 3 - on completion participants will have achieved basic water competency in a pool environment. Level 6 - participants will have mastered all strokes and develop the necessary skills to swim for life.
