UP Camp , After School Activities clash - Updated Fri 15 Sep '23
Due to the UP Camp schedule some students will have a clash with their scheduled ASA.
Camp Dates
Grade 3
Sept 22 and then 25-26 overnight (students arrive back at school at 3:30pm on 22nd and 26th)
Grade 4
Sept 27, 28 & 29 (students will return for 3pm ASA on 29th)
Grade 5
Sept 19, 20, 21 (students arrive back at school at 3:30pm on 21)
At the time of ASA’s registrations our providers were unaware of the impact the UP Camp dates would have on specific programs and were unable to mitigate these clashes. As the classes are normally offered to students from Grade 3-5, the ASA leaders will operate classes on all camp dates for the students that are not on camp that week. In the effort to provide all students with an opportunity to complete the programming, all our providers will schedule a make up class, and some may offer a refund if a make up class for the group as a whole is not viable.
If your child has an after school activity clash during camp week but you have not received any communication from your provider please contact your provider to discuss the options available.
Please note: that ASA providers will do their best to provide a ‘make-up class’ date for students affected and we ask parents to make an effort for their child to attend the make-up class offered, as the program providers will have then delivered the same class twice and are not likely to be able to provide a refund to students who do not attend the rescheduled classes.
Fourth Grade Students with activities on Fri 29 Sep will return in time to attend their 3pm ASA. If for any reason you chose not to attend please complete the ASA absence form at the following link
