HKIS Internship Program
The Alumni Office at HKIS oversees an internship program that provides current HKIS High School junior and senior students (aged 16 and above) as well as university aged alumni the opportunity to gain relevant and useful real-world experience with both local and international companies in Hong Kong. The majority of our internship opportunities are sponsored by alumni, current parents and friends of HKIS and the greater Hong Kong Community. The internship opportunities can be paid or unpaid and the duration of the internship varies from company, however, a two-week minimum length is required from our interns. The majority of our internships are offered during the summer holidays, however internships during the winter break or ongoing opportunities are also available.
The Alumni Office reviews all applications received and will provide the hosting companies with a short list of suitable applicants to be considered for an internship. The hosting companies will contact the applicants directly to arrange an interview, meeting and any follow up needed. The Advancement Office serves as the conduit to connect students and alumni with our network of hosting companies but is not responsible for hiring of interns. HKIS's role is limited to an introductory nature and accepts no responsibility for the Intern Applicant with regard to his/her relationship with the hosting company. The host company is an independent contractor and not legally associated with HKIS.
Please submit your application by April 15, 2022 to be considered for a summer internship opportunity. You can access the "Internship Application Form" below and browse our current hosting partners.
We would like to thank our internship host partners for supporting the HKIS Internship Program and continuing to provide invaluable experiences to our High School students and young alumni. If you wish to become a host company, please complete the application below "Host Company Application Form." We accept applications from hosting partners throughout the year.
