Overview
This comprehensive workshop series is designed to equip parents with the knowledge and tools to support their children's wellbeing in the digital age. Drawing from current research, including insights from Jonathan Haidt's "The Anxious Generation," we'll explore the complex relationship between mental health and social media use among young people.

Speaker
Ellen Mahoney
Ellen Mahoney is the CEO and founder of Sea Change Mentoring, an organization she established in 2013 to support international schools in fostering social and emotional learning (SEL) and wellbeing. An alumna of international schools, Ellen brings a unique cultural fluency and award-winning expertise to her work, inspiring trust and transformative change among educators and school leaders worldwide. As a Council of International Schools (CIS) Affiliated Consultant since 2019, Ellen has made significant contributions to CIS’s wellbeing initiatives and serves as the Social and Emotional co-chair of AAIE’s Crisis Response Alliance.
Ellen has co-authored and contributed to numerous influential publications, including Preventing and Responding to Student Suicide, the SEL section of the NESA Instructional Coherence Guide, and Surveying the Landscape: Common Practices, Challenges, and Opportunities in International School Transitions-Care, which received an award for its impact.
