Activities Office


The Activities Office promotes a wide range of activities for HKIS students and the wider community. The program provides students with an opportunity to develop fundamental skills, healthy habits and physical literacy through participation. As the activities program is an integral part of the HKIS co-curricular program, they also offer a pathway to excellence for those that wish to pursue a particular area of interest more rigorously.

List of Activities

The program is offered as two distinct terms each year, each term is normally 14-16 weeks in duration.

Term 1 - September to Chinese New Year

Term 2 - Chinese New Year through to June.

The programs are offered Monday to Friday after-school and on weekends, utilising the Repulse Bay and Tai Tam facilities. Long Term Athlete Development Model

The Sports and Athletics programs follow a Long Term Athlete Development model. The aim of the model is to develop appropriate literacy and overall sports development for recreational or aspiring competitive athletes.
