The Advancement Office was established to provide the means to enhance the programs at HKIS. The funds raised by this department allows the school to invest in the future of the educational experience for our students. Over the years the team has grown to include our Marketing and Communications team who together build, develop, and maintain participation and relationships with the HKIS Community through alumni relations, school communications, public relations and community events.
A large part of HKIS’s continued success over the years has come from the generous support of our families. It is through these gifts that HKIS can invest in excellence in education, by developing programs and building facilities for our students over decades. Those parents interested in offering impactful, large-scale support for HKIS’s long-term development should contact our Chief Advancement Officer, Heath Hignight.
The Annual Fund is managed by the Annual Fund Manager, who enjoys the opportunity to work closely with a committee of parent volunteers to communicate the importance of the Annual Fund. They also collaborate with the Advancement Office to present special events for our community.

Our network is comprised of former students, administrators, faculty and staff. Our aim is to connect, engage and inspire. We believe our alumni are a testament of our school's success and legacy.
Hillary Sandeen oversees our Alumni Relations and has been getting to know our alumni since 2017 and has helped plan many reunions, led campus tours, started an internship program and keeps our alumni connected with a monthly newsletter.
