Overview

The Upper Primary years are special, and we wanted to capture that in our virtual learning experience. We initially tried to minimize screen time for this age group, but quickly realized that we needed to use tech as a tool to serve the students’ learning needs and maintain collaboration.
The below examples and best practices were learnings shared from the Spring of 2020 when students and teachers were thrown into a home learning environment for the first time. We still think some of these resources are useful if you are going virtual for the first time or for a short amount of time. We will continue to share updates on how we adjusted when home learning became a regular part of our school year.
