WELCOME TO SUMMER DISCOVERY PROGRAM 2019

At HKIS we believe that learning does not stop when the academic year ends. We offer a wealth of summer programs and opportunities, both on and off campus, to HKIS students and the wider Hong Kong community.

SUMMER DISCOVERY PROGRAM

For over 50 years we have fine tuned and developed our Summer Discovery programs to create an engaging and enjoyable learning experience. We open our program to all members of the Hong Kong community. This unique experience makes a positive difference to all those that take part. Hong Kong International School's team of experienced and professional staff lead the program of activities. Our aim is to provide participants with the best possible instruction in a fun safe environment.

ENGLISH LANGUAGE LEADERSHIP PROGRAM - (Registration Closed)

Taught in English, this accelerated program provides gifted students from Hong Kong with the opportunity to experience and develop independent and creative thinking skills alongside active learning techniques. Through active participation and reflection on what they are learning, participants receive student-centered and activity-based instruction, rather than a content-driven approach.

HIGH SCHOOL SUMMER ACADEMIC TERM

The Summer Academic Term is for current HKIS students to earn high school credit. Taking courses during the Summer Academic Term allows students increased flexibility and choice in managing their four-year program of study at the high school. A range of courses, both on-campus and off-campus, are offered each year and all are taught by HKIS teachers.
