What is a 'Recurring Gift'?
A recurring gift is an ongoing, specific gift amount determined by a donor that is charged monthly to a donor’s credit card. Your recurring gifts will be a dependable source of support that HKIS can count on throughout the year.
You can set up your recurring gift by credit card, or the next time you make an online donation, but choosing “recurring gift.”

Hong Kong International School is a non-profit organization and will issue a charitable tax receipt for your gift.

Please email [email protected] to notify HKIS of your donation. A minimum donation of US$100 (approximately HK$800) is required. Each quarter, the Friends of Hong Kong Charities Inc. issues receipts that support tax deductions in the US.

Corporate matching gifts allow you to maximize your gifts to HKIS. Many corporations support their employees' charitable contributions through matching gift programs.
- Matching gift programs can double or triple the value of your gift to HKIS
- As the donor responsible for bringing in the matching funds, you will be acknowledged in the school's Annual Report of Giving at the gift level that reflects your personal gift in addition to the company match
- Your employer also receives credit in the Annual Report of Giving.
