DCAA - The Dragon Center for Activities & Athletics
The Dragon Center for Activities & Athletics opens in November 2025 and is adjacent to the Tai Tam field. The center is a place for community members to explore their passions, stay healthy, and make community connections. The center is also the home of the Dragons and core to our athletics program. Explore the facility below by clicking hot spots on the building model and 360° icons to experience the spaces.
More Than A Gym
This multi-story building will house sporting facilities for our Middle and High Schools, with a pool, tennis courts, climbing walls, spinning, rowing, dance, and martial arts studios. Yes, that’s right, it’s not “just” a gym! Our students and teachers will have innovative spaces to express themselves, hone their skills, and connect with others.
- Completion: 2025
- Size: 22,700 sqm
DCAA Facilities Overview
Commitment to the Community
With the Dragon Center for Activities & Athletics, we reaffirm our commitment to health and wellbeing by creating spaces to support our full community— for our students who will use it daily, and for the Hong Kong community, who will access it through activities programming and community partnerships. It will also have over 180 much-needed parking spaces for the Tai Tam community and visitors.

Development
Building Connections
A large part of HKIS’s continued success over the years has come from the generous support of our community members. It is through these gifts that HKIS can invest in excellence in education, by developing programs and building facilities for our students over decades.
To learn how you can claim one or more of these opportunities, contact Heath K. Hignight, Chief Advancement Officer.
